This is an experiment, and only for Kindle. A new series, female sleuth, cozy but not twee, and it’s got a dog! I really wanna hear what you think of it.

I have read many, many of the Demarkian books, and was excited to see a new, (potential), series.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. The proofreading was not perfect, some typos, etc.
I am not fond of a romance masquerading as a mystery, nor do I like paranormal or psychic sleuths. This was perfect. A prickly character who does not suffer fools gladly, but is fully human.
I would be very pleased to see more of Georgia.

Me too. Great to see that my frequent checking of the Hildegarde site has been rewarded.
I agree about the proof-reading. The one that stuck with my pedantic brain was the apparent “discreet/discrete” confusion. Being an Australian, I was not sure whether this was just a typo or whether it was another American spelling/usage atrocity, eg “defense” for our “defence”, or use of “practice” as both a noun and a verb. After 60+ years of reading American publications, some of these things still startle me.
